Growing Alligator Experiment

Suitable for ages 4 to 7 years
Reception to Year 2 (Primary 1 to 3)

Measure your alligator, place it in water and wait for it to grow.
You can measure it each day as it grows larger.
Then make a chart to show your results. (The Teacher Notes contain several novel ideas
for ways in which you can present the information visually.)

This activity is about:

Measuring quantities (length and/or weight);

Recording these values in a table;

Presenting the data in a visual format.
