Young children just love the bright colours produced when these tablets are placed in water - and when two different coloured waters are mixed together the colours change instantly.

The tablets come in three primary colours - red, blue and yellow - but the coloured waters can be mixed together to make a whole range of colours. How many different colours can you make?

Slightly older pupils can explore a more scientific approach to colour mixing - by using pipettes to measure different quantities of each colour.
